Survey results have proved to be inconclusive, based on tabulation efforts of Pat Floyd, who served as Project Chairman. Fifty-three surveys were returned, from just under 100 handed out.
One interesting observation was that, when asked “What information would you like to see on our church’s web site?,” 70%, or 41 of the 53 responders, indicated that they have no computer, don’t use one, see no need for a web site, or simply chose not to respond. Some felt that color photos or videos of church activities would be helpful. Others suggested content (schedules, activities) already in place on the site.
Preferred days/times for worship services ranged from the current Sunday at 9:00 a.m. (most popular) to Saturdays at 4:00 or 6:00 p.m. A once-weekly Bible study led by the pastor appealed to fourteen individuals, all preferring different days/times.
Copies of Pat’s spreadsheet are available in the office for those who would like to see all the responses.
Many thanks for all the tedious tabulating, Pat!
