Men's Breakfast Fellowship

breakfast

Join your friends and make new ones at 7:30 on Tuesday mornings as you enjoy a good breakfast prepared and served by the men themselves, in Swain Hall. There’ll be plenty of good conversation and fellowship—also some hymns led by Rev. Otto Wedul.

In addition, Super Bowl means “Souper” Bowl at FPC!

Men’s Breakfast Fellowship sponsors its annual “Souper” Bowl Sunday on February 5th. Kettles to collect donations will be easy to spot during Fellowship Hour. Please give generously to support three local food banks!

. . . For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required; and of him to whom men entrust much, they will require and demand all the more. Luke 12:48

 NEW PROJECT:

Homeless Veteran Relief: COVER

“Love COVERs all things . . .” (1 Corinthians 13:7) and the COVER program sponsored by Hospice of the West believes that:

  • All veterans, especially those who are struggling with homelessness, need to be COVERED in our love. Love always protests, support, and upholds. Help us to protect and serve those who protected and served us and this great nation.
  • We appreciate the tremendous effort being made by the Department of Veterans Affairs. They need the additional support, effort and inspiration of every community in this nation. Let our love be like a protective COVER. Let us not fail those who have served with honor and integrity.

Veterans’ needs include:

  • New socks.
  • Gently used blankets, sweaters, sweat suits, warm hats, gloves, scarves, and shoes.

Looking forward to having a fun and rewarding spring with all the ladies of the church, our Presbyterian Women!

Your PW Moderator,

Gail Bickel
